GBM on 18.10.2020 : Notice

Dear members,

You all are aware that the tenure of the exe committee of SFOWA has completed on 16.06.2020. Consequent to this there is a vaccum in the administration of SFOWA and our representation at all levels wether with the builder, maintainance service providers or other statutory authorities.

Therefore, there is urgent and dire need to form a new exe committe for our association as early as possible to represent our society infront of various bodies.

As there is no authorised body to call for a gbm which will elect the election officer and to declare election dates and conduct election, the onus of this responsibility has fallen on each and every member of this association.

In view of the above, we as a society have notified that a gbm will be held on 18th october 2020 at the vgn stafford club house at 10 in the morning. If quorum is inadequate the gbm will commence after 30 min at 10.30am

The only agenda is to

A. Elect/select an Election officer (asst election officers will be choosen by the Election Officer as per bylaw under intimation to the general body)

To pass a resolution for the erstwhile Executive committee will hand over the Sfowa materials to the election officer who will keep it in safe custody and hand it over to the new Executive committee after elections.

We have obtained written consent from around 150 resident owners requesting for GBM on sunday alone. We request those who have not signed the request to contact the following numbers and sign the notice.

I request that a GBM be conducted with 21 days notice time with following agenda;

1. To elect an election officer to conduct elections to elect office bearers of SFOWA.
2. To hand over the assets/documents to such elected EO who will be the custodian till new exe committe team will be formed and take over the SFOWA.

Due to the present pandemic i could not keep a written request for conducting a gbm and instead i request that this mail send from my personal mail id may be considered as a written request.
