                      VGN SFOWA ELECTION NOTIFICATION            01:2021

As decided by the General Body Meeting (GBM) held on 18.10.2020 and with reference to the MOM of the meeting, I , Soumik Chakraborty have been selected as Election Officer, to conduct the Election Process. Consequent to the Resignation of the Executive /Management Committee after the completion of their full term, vacancies have been created which need to be filled immediately for the term 2021-23 and elections are to be conducted by following all the provisions of The Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975, the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Rules 1978 , and the Registered Bye-Law of VGN SFOWA as far as the same does not contradict the parent Act and the Rules Made thereunder. Legal opinions on these issues have been obtained endorsing the same.

Hence by virtue of the powers entrusted in me, I, hereby call upon all eligible registered members of the Association to participate in the Election Process and announce the Elections to the Post of 7 Office Bearers of SFOWA as per the details given below.

Election will be conducted to create a New Executive Committee of VGN Stafford Flat Owners Association consisting of following posts:

1. President                 — 1
2. Vice-President        — 1
3. Secretary                 —  1
4. Joint Secretary        — 1
5. Treasurer                 —  1
6. Joint Treasurer        — 1
7. Executive Member –  1

Schedule of Election Process:

1. Publication of final member list :      31.12.2020 & 11.02.2021
2. Last date for filing nomination :       20^th  Feb 2021  till  8.30 pm
3. Initial Display of Nomination   :        22^nd  Feb 2021 By 7 pm
4. Last date of  Withdrawal

of nomination:                                  23^rd Feb 2021  from 7.00 pm to 8.30 Pm

• Display of  final nomination  list

after withdrawal  and

Scrutinisation:                                    25^th Feb  2021  by 7 pm

• Date of election:                                21^st   March  2021  between  9am to 5 pm
• Counting of Votes:                             21^st March 2021  at 5.30pm
• Declaration of Result:                         21^st March 2021 after counting of Votes

The election office will function from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm on all days from 11^th Feb 2021. The filing of nomination and withdrawls to be submitted ONLY in person at the election office. However ,all are requested to call and come .

The detailed Nomination Paper ( to be downloaded and filled ), Eligibility Norms ,Voting Procedure, Code of Conduct and Final members list  are attached herewith.

Election Office  : Squash Court Room, 1^st Floor. Club Stafford.

The Venue of Election will be intimated shortly.

Note : Election Team has taken all efforts to make the notice error free and cover all that is needed. However if in future any errors/difficulties are observed  EO reserves the right to make necessary amendments to the above notice in order to correct such errors and/or to overcome such difficulties.
